Insider Knowledge

One Way

Sierra Nevada is one-way. Plan your entry and exit to avoid unnecessary laps.

Traffic Jams

There are always jams on holidays and peak season eves. Wake up early or go up the afternoon before.

Resort Loop

In peak season, it can take +40 min to do a full lap of the resort.

Free Parking

Parking in the high zone (CAR) is free, but fills up very quickly.

Access Cuts

If capacity is exceeded, the Guardia Civil cuts access to the resort. Have a parking reservation.

Internal Mobility: Forget the car

Moving around Pradollano by car is a mistake. Streets are narrow, one-way, and parking is difficult. Use these alternatives to get from your apartment to the slopes.

Urban Bus

Connects the low, mid, and high zones. Frequency approx every 20 min. It's the best option to go up from Peñones.

Urban Chairlift

Insider Tip: Included in your ski pass. Use it as an "elevator" between Plaza de Andalucía and the high zone to avoid stairs with boots on.
