Monumento Virgen de las Nieves
Discover one of Sierra Nevada’s most iconic landmarks. This sanctuary and stone monument were built in 1968 to honor the Patron Saint of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
The monument can be reached on foot via scenic hiking trails starting from either Pradollano or Hoya de la Mora.
Situated at an altitude of approximately 2,700 meters, right at the foot of the majestic Veleta Peak.
The sanctuary offers a privileged vantage point with panoramic views of the entire mountain range and the city of Granada in the distance.
